Our Eye Level Learning program—anchored in nationally recognized NCTM/NCTE standards—is offered as part of our after-school education in Anchorage and is ideal for students who may need extra support, academic challenge, or structured enrichment in their daily routine.
This research-based system provides students with customized instruction that meets them at their current level—known as their "eye level"—and encourages steady, self-paced progression. The program blends guided instruction with self-directed worksheets and activity-based learning in a structured, supportive environment.
The Eye Level Learning Method
The Eye Level Learning system is designed to enhance your child’s ability to learn independently, while reinforcing fundamental academic skills in math and language arts. Through diagnostic testing, students are placed at their individualized starting point and progress at a comfortable pace that promotes mastery and confidence.
Core areas of focus include early literacy, reading comprehension, arithmetic and number sense, equations, geometry, spatial reasoning, and problem-solving. Each component is delivered through high-quality materials and self-directed tasks that promote both academic achievement and executive functioning skills.
